Our Commitment to Privacy

At QR.SYS32.LT, your privacy is our top priority. We believe that QR code generation should be fast, powerful, and completely private. All QR code generation happens entirely in your browser on your device.

What Data We Collect

Short answer: Minimal to none.

  • Local Storage Only: QR history is stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. No data is sent to any server.
  • Theme Preferences: Your dark/light mode preference is saved locally.
  • No Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or any third-party analytics tools.
  • No Cookies: We do not use tracking cookies or persistent cookies beyond what's necessary for functionality.

How Your Data is Processed

  • 100% Client-Side: All QR code generation occurs in your web browser using JavaScript libraries.
  • No Backend Processing: We do not have a backend server that processes your QR data.
  • No Data Transmission: Your QR content is never sent to our servers or any third party.
  • No Logging: We do not log QR codes you generate or any personal information.

What About Sharing Features?

When you use social sharing features (Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.):

  • You are redirected to those platforms' share dialogs.
  • We only share what you choose to share.
  • Those platforms have their own privacy policies.
  • We do not send any data to those platforms on your behalf.

Browser Permissions

The app may request certain permissions:

  • Local Storage: To save your QR history and preferences.
  • Clipboard Access: Only when you click "Copy Link" - to copy the share URL.
  • Download: When you download QR codes to your device.
  • Notifications (Optional): Only for success/error messages within the app.

Third-Party Libraries

We use the following open-source libraries (all client-side):

  • QRCode.js - For QR code generation
  • jsPDF - For PDF export

These libraries are loaded from CDNs but operate entirely in your browser. They do not send data anywhere.

Cloudflare CDN

This application is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (static hosting only). Cloudflare may collect:

  • Standard web server logs (IP address, User-Agent, etc.)
  • These are used for security and CDN optimization only
  • See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details

GDPR & Data Rights

Since we don't collect personal data:

  • You have the right to access your data → Clear your browser's localStorage anytime
  • You have the right to delete your data → Clear browser data or use the "Clear History" button
  • You have the right to data portability → Export your QR history as JSON
  • No GDPR data processing agreements needed

Security

  • HTTPS Only: All connections are encrypted with SSL/TLS
  • No Passwords: The app doesn't require authentication
  • Content Security Policy: We use CSP headers to prevent injection attacks
  • No External Requests: QR processing doesn't require external APIs

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last Updated" date will be changed whenever this policy is modified.
